• ARI System Call for Proposals FY 2027-2028 for SLO-specific details, please see Campus Call above 

Notice of Intent Forms:

• Seed, New Investigator, Campus Competition 2027-2028 - NOI form due in My Cal Poly Research by October 28, 2026.

• ARI System Funding 2027-2028 - NOI form due in My Cal Poly Research by October 9, 2026.

How to submit a Notice of Intent: 

Video Instructions

1. Download and complete the Notice of Intent Form above for the applicable competition.
2. Log into My Cal Poly Research.
3. Click "PreAward" on the left.
4. Click "Proposal Initiation Form" (PIF).
5. Complete the PIF questions based off your project.
6. Proposal Sponsor: CSU Agricultural Research Institute (ARI)
7. Request for Proposal (RFP)/ Solicitation Document Type: 
   • Select "Document Upload (attach document)"
   • Upload your NOI form there.
8. Continue completing PIF questions based off your project.
9. Save and Continue.
